Emails from AA/OCK saying tickets will not be mailed, but have to be picked up at venues: http://community.livejournal.com/fbraustralia/431546.html
And this one, copy-pasted because the post is flocked: [DONE WITH PERMISSION, I ASKED THE POSTER]FALL OUT BOY AUSTRALIAN TOUR AA/OCK TICKETS
I'm sure you've all heard by now, if you haven't well.. did you forget that the Fall Out Boy Australian tour starts in 8 days, and you haven't receieved your ticket(s)?
After numerous calls over the past few weeks to Artist Arena (who are based in New York) and being told a different reason as to why we hadn't got our tickets yet, panic had set in.
Yesterday morning, I called Artist Arena again, and was told that
1. there had been a problem with printing the tickets.
2. they did not have the authorisation to print the tickets, they were only a preorder company
3. it's not a good answer, but it's all i've got.
Then he hung up on me.
Completely unsatisfied with this. I've spent alot of time, alot of phone credit, but everything for these Australian shows is now sorted.
2/15 CHALLENGE STADIUM, PERTH
ph. 08 9441 8222
BOX OFFICE OPENS 5PM
A lady by the name of Chris (event management) has chased up the tickets.
"The company .. Outcast Kids? had trouble getting the tickets to you in time, so they have come direct to the venue. Box office are just waiting the client list from Artist Arena, so as long as you have your confirmation email, you will get your ticket.."
In regards to Early Entry (as Will Call, which opens AFTER doors)
"We are well aware of this, and box office will be open earlier specifically for this reason."

BOX OFFICE OPENS AT 4PM
Spoke to Jarrad (event management). He had only heard of the FOB fanclub, but contacted the promoter for the tour, and confirmed that all tickets would be available at the venue on the day of the show.
2/18 ROD LAVER ARENA, MELBOURNE
ph. 03 9286 1600
BOX OFFICE OPEN FROM 9AM
Spoke to somebody from the ticketing department. You will need your confirmation email, and you can collect your tickets from the "Red Booth" from 9am on the day of the show. Collection is only available on the day. The tickets have been confirmed to be there, and are just awaiting a client list for the show.
2/20 BRISBANE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE, BRISBANE
ph. 07 3265 8111
BOX OFFICE OPEN AT 5:30PM
The girl who answered the phone was very rude, and unhelpful. She transfered me through to the ticketing management and because Brisbane was one of the last venues i was chasing up, i knew what to ask, and who to speak to - this made the person on the phone convinced that i was actually calling on behalf of Artist Arena, and proceeded to ask me if I would be dealing with the EE/M&G fan club organisation, and if I would be supplying the wrist bands.
ID and confirmation email will need to be presented to collect your ticket, and they are just also awaiting the list from Artist Arena.
nb. I don't work for Artist Arena, nor will I be organising any of the Overcast Kid M&G or EE passes. I would rather walk into oncomming traffic than work for Artist Arena, or use them again.
2/21 ACER ARENA, SYDNEY
ph. 02 8765 4321
BOX OFFICE OPEN RFOM 5:30PM
Acer Arena, didn't want to talk to me.
The most information they would give out was that the tickets will be at the box office, on the day of the show, ready for collection with the confirmation email required.
I am just concerned with Acer, because for any of you who attended the Fall Out Boy show in Sept 07, they had no idea what was happening with the m&g passes.
I hope this helps everybody, and maybe calms the nerves about not having your tickets until the day.
I'm really annoyed with the way that Artist Arena have treated this whole situation, especially since we all paid for postage & handling on each individual ticket, and (one time) when i called them, he told me they hadn't been posted out yet, because they were - and i quote - "sending them all together to save on postage".
I purchased a ticket for the NZ show at Vector Arena, but now am not going. If the ticket would have been mailed to me, the way I organised and paid for, THREE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT, then i would have been able to sell it, or pass it on to somebody else, but now - due to Artist Arena's incompetency, a GA ticket will sit at the box office of Vector Arena, in an envelope with my name on it, unable to be collected by anybody BUT myself.
I've lost $100, if anybody wants this ticket, please by all means, try and collect it from the venue. I'd rather somebody have a good time, then let it go to waste.
I can give you my details, and fwd you the confirmation email from Artist Arena if you want to try and collect the ticket. Free
